Information Technology Strategic Plan

The Information & Technology Department began a major initiative in July of 2005 to create a long-term information technology strategic plan.

The project was completed and the final plan presented to City Council November 29, 2005.  The plan spans a four-year fiscal period (FY07, FY08, FY09, FY10) - out to the date of September 30, 2010.  It includes initiatives among these four basic elements of information technology:

  • Applications
  • IT Decision-Making
  • IT Service Delivery
  • Technical Infrastructure
